Thank you for the quick reply, but I think there may be a slight misunderstanding about the setting you mentioned. The “Scroll to latest” / “Jump to the newest message when reopening a chat” option controls whether the view jumps to the bottom when you reopen a previously closed chat. That is not the behavior I am referring to. The issue I reported is different: it occurs during an active, already-open conversation. When the AI finishes generating a response, the interface automatically scrolls down to the very end of that newly generated message, even if I am still reading earlier parts of the answer. This happens in real time as the response completes, not when reopening the chat. What I am requesting is a separate setting—such as a toggle labeled “Auto-scroll to bottom on response completion”—that would let users disable this specific behavior while keeping the chat open. This would be particularly useful for long, detailed responses where I want to review the content from the beginning or continue reading from my current position without being forced to the bottom.
