This might be related to a bug where additional questions are not sent properly. If you continue to ask additional questions, the past context will be deleted, and context addition will stop at a certain point.

Happens to me to, most of my chats get wiped out for no reason, it has been happening for quite a long time, 1-2 months i would say, i hope they fix it soon, it's really really annoying
